For this child we have prayed.........
Babies! Babies! and more Babies!!!!This has been such a fun week full of baby births and news ( no not for us if you were even wondering ). On Sunday I helped host a diaper shower for Rebecca ( my partner ) ( where literally everyone had a little baby bump ). Then that night I get a call from one of my best friends from high school Stephanie Hardwick Glass and she told she was pregnant!!!!! I am so happy for Stephanie and Drew and can't wait to love on their little baby. Then Monday morning I get an email that Mimi and Benji's triplet girls were born!!!! They were born at 32 weeks but were all over 3lbs which is such a blessing. The Lord has just put Mimi and her girls so heavy on my heart and I along with so many others have been praying for these precious girls since I found out she was expecting. Also, this week another couple from our church had triplet girls ( crazy i know but what an answer to prayers that all 6 girls are doing so good). I don't know this couple personally yet but I am taking them food later and look forward to meeting the family and thier sweet girls!!! On Tuesday our friends Trey and Melanie Field from our small group had their baby boy Will ( we got to see Trey and Melanie last night but sadly we didn't get meet little Will ). On Wednesday Scott and Helen Marshall had baby boy Taylor Moss Marshall! We saw him on Thursday night as well and he is soo cute ( and he and little Will Field will have lots of girls to chose from ). On Thursday morning I get a text from my partner Rebecca saying that she is in labor ( 2 weeks early ) !!!! She had not found out what she was having and had a GIRL!!!! I couldn't be at the hospital because I was working for her ( since she was a little busy and it was killing me I wasn't there ). Tears filled my eyes when I got the call "It's a girl!!! Her name is Taylor Elizabeth Ueltschey. What a cute name. Rebecca and I had surfed the internet looking for name suggestions and I thought the name she chose was beautiful. This is the baby I have felt kick and squirm in Rebecca's little tummy for the past few months so it was so exciting to know it was a little girl and to meet her. We have had countless conversations about baby U2. She was healthy and beautiful just like her big sister Anderson. I am so happy for them. Also, I have 2 Chi O friends and one had a baby girl on Thursday and one found out she was having a little boy on Thursday. What a fun week!!! Jay and I have been praying for these children for months and what a blessing this week has been. Our prayer is that these babies grow to know God's love and how good He is!!!! Congratulations to all!!!!! We would love to babysit!!!

You know you a Redneck.....
You know you are a Redneck when on Christmas Day you have to borrow your parents SUV to load ( in the pouring down rain ) all the presents, luggage, family dog, 9 puppies, and a kiddy swimming pool in the back seat to travel to the in-laws for Christmas. Yes, that is right. That is how we traveled this Christmas to Laurel. It was quite a sight. Thank you to Jay's parents for letting us bring the puppies for 3 days. There were 6 kids under the age of 6 playing with the puppies every chance they could. There were so many cute pictures and funny moments that I will post later.
Also, thank you to all our friends, family, and customers for supporting us this Christmas season at Smitten. We had a wonderful first Christmas season. We can't tell you how much your business means. We are headed to market in 2 weeks and hope to find lots of great things for 09!!! Thank you again.

3 weeks!!! ( or pictures from )
The puppies have now opened their eyes and walking. They are getting so big and so much more fun ( except the fact that they poop so much more ). This past weekend when it was warm we took them outside for the first time, and they played in the grass with the neighborhood kids. They also had their first meal. Here are a few pictures.

Another Night of Sleep Talking
So Jay talked in his sleep again last night ( again about Mazzie and the puppies ). So last night I was snug in my warm bed when all of the sudden Jay pops out of bed and started looking around the room asking, "where is Mazzie?" He then decides to turn on the bright overhead light and looks under the bed still asking, "where is Mazzie?" ( this is where Mazzie used to sleep before the puppies were born ) I told him "she isn't in here". He said "She had here puppies last night. I need to find her". I said "what? Jay go back to bed. The puppies are 3 weeks old." He said "oh" stratched his head and said oh yea. These are the crazy things I go through during the night. haha

It is the most wonderful time of year!
This is my favorite month of the year. I love everything about this time of year!
Here is a list of all the things I love about Christmas!
1. Our Savior is Born! He is the reason for the season! He is the reason we celebrate and what a celebration! I always love rereading the Christmas story and the Birth of Christ.
2. Love all the crazy family festivities. This is probably the only month that we get to see all our family and friends ( usually within like a 2 day period but it is so much fun ).
3. I love getting together with all my friends! I love all the dirty santa parties and annual High School, Chi O, small group and now Supper Club Christmas parties with all my closest friends.
4. I love decorating for Christmas!! I love putting up the decorations all around the house.
5. I love going to my home church in Memphis and singing all the carols, seeing all the churches' decorations, and lighting the advent wreath. ( My family is lighting it on Sunday I am so sad that Jay and I can't be there.)
6. I love waking up on Christmas morning with Jay and dumping out our stocking that we stuff for each other. It so much fun shopping for the stuffers to fill them! ( open to ideas for this year if any one has any??)
7. I love me some Christmas music. I love to turn up the music really really loud in my car and sing to the top of my lungs ( of course when I am all alone ).
8. I love the crazy lines and busy retail season. I really love when they are at Smitten!!! Its my favorite month to work retail ( which is a good thing b/c i usually work a whole lot ).
9. The food! I am not a sweets person ( usually like the salty stuff ) but I do love my some sweets at Christmas time!!!
10. And last but not least I love ending the month traveling to see my Bulldogs in a bowl game ( okay so obviously this has only happened like 5 times in the last oh 15 years). NEXT YEAR IS THE YEAR! Dan's the Man!!!
Here are a few pictures from some of the festivities.
Our tree! Don't look too close it maybe leaning ( it always takes us so long to try to get it straight ).
This past weekend after church with my dad. He is such a big kid. This Sunday at Church I was sitting next to him and he started playing with this laser pointer that Jay gave him. Yes, that is right my dad in church with a laser pointer. So for anyone at church that might have seen it, no it wasn't an 8 year old little boy, it was my dad.
These are my best friends from High school this weekend at a Christmas wedding shower for Monica. It is amazing to me that even though I only get to see them a few times a year they know me so well. These girls know silly things about me that others dont know ( its so weird when they point them out b/c others don't know things like them ). These are the girls I grew up with. It is so neat b/c when I am with them I feel like we are still 15. I love and miss them all but am thankful that we are still all so close!!
